If you're looking to significantly upgrade the durability and power handling of your 1995-1997 Ford F-350's E4OD transmission, this BD Diesel Stage 4 kit is designed for that job. The stock transmission is built for standard loads, but when you start towing heavy or pushing your truck harder, it can quickly become a weak point. This transmission kit addresses those limitations with a comprehensive rebuild that includes stronger internal components and revised oil circuits.

BD Diesel has replaced all aluminum planetaries with steel ones and upgraded the output and intermediate shafts with added lube and support. They've also increased the clutch material by 30%-40% with additional steels, and tightened the clutch packs for quicker engagement. This means the transmission can handle up to 300% more power and torque than the original unit. The kit also features a re-programmed accumulator body for enhanced oil flow, increased cooler pressure, and higher pressure to the converter, all contributing to a more positive clutch application. For towing in overdrive, a dedicated lube circuit has been created. The included BD rigid aluminum heavy-duty transmission pan not only reduces case flex and internal oil leakage but also features heat-dissipating fins to keep temperatures down. It adds 6 quarts of extra oil capacity, and comes with a magnetic drain plug to catch any stray metal particles.

This kit includes an auxiliary frame-mounted full-flow filter kit for added protection, and all solenoids are hard-wired for high-temperature resistance. Each transmission is dyno tested before it leaves BD Diesel to ensure it's ready for demanding use. While this transmission is built for durability, it is not warranted for race or sled pull use. It comes with a 36-month/150,000-mile limited warranty.
