BD Diesel Transmission Kit - 1999-2003 Ford 4R100 2wd PTO

BD Diesel is well-known for building robust drivetrain components for demanding applications. If you're looking to significantly upgrade the transmission in your 1999-2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty, this Stage 4 transmission kit with a Power Take-Off (PTO) unit is designed to handle serious power. This kit features a fully rollerized geartrain and upgraded internal components, including steel planetaries replacing the stock aluminum ones, and a significant increase in clutch material. You'll find 30%-40% more clutch material and additional steels, along with tighter clutch packs for quicker, firmer shifts. BD Diesel has also revised oil circuits and added high-power boost valves for improved internal lubrication, and increased pressure to the converter and cooler to help manage the extra power. The transmission is re-calibrated with a re-programmed accumulator body and a full shift kit featuring a line mod valve to increase pressures, creating positive clutch application. For added durability and leak prevention, direct and intermediate feeds are drilled and tapped at the case, and the center support, intermediate piston, low/reverse pressure plate, and rear ring gear hub are all machined.

Included with this transmission is BD Diesel's rigid aluminum heavy-duty transmission pan. This pan not only adds 6 quarts of extra oil capacity, which helps keep temperatures down thanks to its heat-dissipating fins, but it also reduces case flex and internal oil leakage. A magnetic drain plug is also integrated into the pan. For 1999-2003 models, an auxiliary frame-mounted full-flow filter kit is bundled with the transmission for added protection. This transmission is dyno-tested before it leaves BD Diesel, ensuring it meets their high standards.
