BD Diesel Transmission Kit - 2000-2002 Dodge 47RE 2wd

If you're looking to significantly increase the power handling capability of your 2000-2002 Dodge Ram 2500's 47RE transmission, this Stage 4 kit from BD Diesel is built for the job. BD Diesel has re-engineered key areas of the 47RE to handle up to 300% more power and torque. This includes a new design valve body, upgraded governor solenoid and transducer, and a modified manual valve for better lubrication in all gear positions. They've replaced stock thrust washers with roller Torrington bearings to reduce friction and save your governor solenoids. You'll find more clutches with up to 25% more material than stock, along with a high-temp Raybestos band, billet band strut, and anchor for improved holding power. The intermediate shaft is drilled for increased lube, and the geartrain is fully rollerized. This transmission is also upgraded with more rugged 48RE components, ensuring a solid foundation.

This kit also includes BD Diesel's rigid aluminum heavy-duty transmission pan, which adds an extra quart of fluid capacity and helps reduce case flex and internal oil leakage thanks to its heat-dissipating fins. A magnetic drain plug is included to catch any stray metal particles. For added protection, a BD auxiliary full-flow filter kit is bundled in, providing extra filtration for your transmission fluid. Every transmission is dyno-tested before it leaves BD Diesel, and this kit comes with a 36-month or 150,000-mile limited warranty.
