BD Diesel is known for building tough drivetrain components for trucks that work hard. The factory transmission is built for everyday driving, but it can struggle when you add more power or start towing heavy loads. This BD Diesel unit is designed to handle up to 300% more power and torque than the original, giving you the confidence to push your truck further.

This transmission features a completely redesigned valve body with revised oil circuits and a modified manual valve for improved lubrication in all gear positions. It replaces stock thrust washers with roller Torrington bearings, which not only reduces friction but also helps save your governor solenoids. You'll find a billet input shaft designed to withstand the shock of rapid throttle changes and high horsepower applications, along with a billet band strut and anchor for added strength. The clutch packs have been beefed up with extra material, and the apply pressures are increased significantly, starting at lower RPMs and lighter throttle inputs, while still maintaining a comfortable light throttle shift feel. It also includes a heavy-duty aluminum pan that reduces case flex and adds an extra quart of oil capacity, complete with heat-dissipating fins and a magnetic drain plug.

BD includes their auxiliary full-flow filter kit for an extra layer of protection, and the intermediate shaft is drilled for increased lubrication. This transmission is fully rollerized and comes with a 36-month or 150,000-mile limited warranty. It's important to note that this transmission is not warranted for race or sled pull use, and using a third-party or OE converter will invalidate the warranty; it's designed to be paired with BD's ProForce 3 or Hi5 torque converters.
