The core function of this kit is to add a bump stop system that gives you better control and resistance when your suspension bottoms out. This means you'll get a smoother ride over smaller bumps and more controlled landings on bigger hits and g-outs. The unique slapper arm design positions the bump stop further out on the lower arm, making it work more effectively. It also ensures the bump stop engages only when you're nearing full compression, leaving your suspension free to move comfortably during normal driving. A rubber pad on the slapper arm helps quiet down contact noise.

This kit is built to work with custom 2.5-inch FOX or King bump stops, similar to how air shocks operate. Camburg has tested this setup extensively to ensure it performs well. The mounts themselves are CNC laser cut and come raw, meaning they will need to be welded onto your frame. Aircraft-grade AN bolts are included for the mounts, offering maximum strength. After welding, Camburg recommends finishing with a black Steel-IT coating. Keep in mind this kit is specifically for Camburg's Trail Series L/T kit and compatible lower arms; it won't work with their Race Series L/T kit.
