These are the same drive plates Camburg uses in their own 2.25" rear race hubs, meaning they're built to handle demanding conditions. They are precision CNC machined in-house from 4340 chromoly steel, a strong material known for its durability in high-stress applications.
After machining, these drive plates undergo a heat-treating process to further increase their strength and then are stress relieved to ensure stability. For added protection against corrosion, they are finished with an electroless nickel plating.
