If you're building or rebuilding a rear end for your custom project, this 2.25 hub spindle snout from Camburg is a solid piece to consider. It's designed for housings that use 3.50 inch OD x .250 wall tubing and is what Camburg uses in their own complete rear end assemblies that feature their 2.25 hubs. This snout is CNC machined in-house from aircraft quality 4130 chromoly, a strong and durable material often found in high-performance applications.
This snout comes complete with the necessary locking nut and hardware. Camburg has updated the design to include a new locking nut that uses a ring bolted to its face, which registers into the snout for a secure fit. You'll need to order the correct thread version for your application; this is the left-hand thread (LHT) model. If you need a pair, be sure to order one right-hand and one left-hand thread snout.
