Camburg 2.50 Race Series Rear Hub Kit (6x5.5 / 35sp)

Camburg has a reputation for building race-winning components, and their 2.50 full-float rear hubs are a prime example. This kit is designed for serious race trucks and PreRunners, offering a robust setup that can handle demanding conditions. It features a 6x5.5 inch bolt pattern with 35 spline drive plates, and the lightweight design incorporates a wide bearing spread to enhance both strength and longevity.

The hub bodies are CNC machined in-house from strong 7075-T6 aluminum, then given a matte black Type II anodized finish. For even greater strength around the wheel stud area, Camburg uses larger 7-inch and 8-inch round material. The wheel studs themselves are also machined in-house from 4340 chromoly, heat-treated, stress-relieved, and finished with a black-oxide coating. These studs feature 5/8-18 threads with an 11/16 shoulder for maximum strength. Tapered, hub-centric center caps are included to make wheel installation quick and easy, which is critical when every second counts on the race course.

This kit comes complete with high-quality Timken bearings and races, along with SKF seals protected by bolt-on stainless retainers. The drive plates are also machined from 4340 chromoly, heat-treated, stress-relieved, and nickel-plated gray for corrosion resistance. Red brake rotor adapters, necessary hardware, O-rings, and bearing preload spacers round out the package. Camburg's attention to detail is evident in features like the drilled head bolts for safety wiring the brake rotor adapters, a level of care you won't find elsewhere. To complete this setup, you will need Camburg's weld-in spindle snouts and their custom spindle nut wrench.
