Product Details
This is the upgraded hardware kit for the Camburg 4.00" axle housing, designed to work with the 3rd member. It uses stronger, custom ARP studs that thread into a machined faceplate. These studs are shouldered in the case area to handle higher horsepower applications. They also feature a special chamfer that registers into the faceplate, helping to keep them straight and reducing shear loads on the threads. The 3/8-16 side threads are designed to work with Camburg's faceplates, and this kit can also be used as an upgrade for their 3.50" housings.
Camburg doesn't use gaskets between the housing and the 3rd member. Instead, they recommend using a high-temperature silicone gasket maker, like "The Right Stuff", for a solid seal. This kit includes AN960 round washers, SHCS alloy screws, and Grade 8 nyloc nuts to ensure everything is securely fastened.
