What you get in this kit is a CNC machined filler cap made from 6061 aluminum, which is then anodized and laser engraved. It also includes a steel threaded bung. This setup is what Camburg uses on their KINETIK race trucks and their 4-inch rear end housings, so you know it's built for demanding use.
The cap itself is designed for easy operation. Its knurled edge lets you spin it on and off quickly, and there's a recessed hex head that fits a 1-inch socket for when you need to apply a bit more torque. The cap measures 3.20 inches in diameter and has 2-1/4"-10 threads. The included weld-on bung is 2.76 inches in diameter and 0.600 inches tall, with a step on the bottom designed to fit into a 2.625-inch hole for easier centering during installation.
