CSF BMW Gen 1 B58 Charge-Air-Cooler Manifold - Machined Billet Aluminum

Starting with a machined billet aluminum construction, this CSF charge-air-cooler manifold is built to handle the demands of modified Gen 1 B58 BMW engines. The factory manifold can struggle when you add bolt-on modifications, upgraded turbos, or performance tuning, often leading to heat soak and timing pull. This manifold is 100% TIG welded for strength, allowing it to withstand higher boost pressures than the stock plastic unit. It features a high-performance, motorsports-grade bar/plate air-to-water intercooler core that has double the capacity of the OEM core, with 12 rows of water cooling compared to the stock 6. Included is a KIYLEX Thermal Rejection Competition Spacer, a patented polymer that insulates the manifold from the cylinder head's heat, proven to lower manifold temperatures by up to 15% and reduce intake air temperatures. For those looking to add more fuel, it includes an integrated extruded fuel rail for top-feed port injection and individual 1/8" NPT ports on each cylinder runner for nitrous or methanol injection, ensuring even spray distribution. CSF also engineered a unique counter-balanced design to ensure smooth airflow into the rear of the manifold, even with the recess for easy oil filter access, and an air divider in the inlet tank to equalize airflow to all cylinders.
