DEI's Floor and Tunnel Shield II is designed specifically for this job. It acts as a strong barrier to reflect and insulate against heat sources, making your interior more comfortable and protecting electronics or body panels from damage.

This shield is well-built with a 10 mil embossed aluminum face bonded to a 1/8 inch composite glass-fiber core. It's backed with a high-temperature adhesive that holds strong even past 450 degrees Fahrenheit, and the material itself can handle direct heat up to 1750 degrees Fahrenheit. At only 3/16 inch thick, it's easy to trim and shape for a custom fit, even in tight spaces like transmission tunnels or firewalls. The improved aluminum surface not only adds rigidity but also helps reflect heat more effectively. It's also great for blocking road and tire noise, adding a sound-deadening benefit.

This shield adheres to a wide variety of surfaces, including metal, aluminum, carbon fiber, and plastic. Remember, the aluminum side should always face the heat source. While it's a fantastic heat barrier, do not apply it directly to exhaust components themselves.
