DEI Exhaust Wrap 2in x 25ft - Titanium - Black

This kit comes with one 25-foot roll of 2-inch wide Black Titanium exhaust wrap. It's made from a special fiber material derived from pulverized lava rock, woven into a unique pattern. This wrap is designed to handle extreme heat, withstanding direct temperatures up to 1800°F and intermittent heat up to 2500°F. It's also built to be pliable, resisting oil spills and vibration breakdown, so you can secure it tightly without needing to pre-wet it.

Using this wrap can help reduce underhood temperatures, which in turn can help maintain exhaust gas velocity for improved performance. It also helps prevent heat soak, protects sensitive components under the hood, and can reduce heat transfer through the firewall and floor for a more comfortable interior. The black carbon fiber look offers a distinct appearance, and it's less irritating to work with than some other wrap materials.

Keep in mind that exhaust wrap is not meant to be removed or repositioned after it has been heated and cycled. The fibers lose their initial flexibility once heated, though this doesn't affect their thermal properties. For this reason, it's best to avoid wrapping flex pipes or joints. Also, wrapping catalytic converters is not recommended as it can lead to overheating and reduced converter life.
