This DEI exhaust wrap kit is a solid option for managing heat around your exhaust system. It's designed to reduce unwanted heat under the hood and keep it from entering the driver compartment, which can also help improve exhaust gas velocity and potentially boost horsepower. You can use it on header tubes to protect nearby wiring, on downpipes to help gases move faster, or on sections of exhaust and tailpipes to keep interior temperatures down. It's also a good choice for motorcycle pipes to prevent leg burns.

The kit includes a 2-inch wide, 25-foot roll of black glass fiber wrap and four 8-inch stainless steel locking ties to secure it in place. Keep in mind that once this wrap has been heated, it loses some flexibility, so it's not meant to be removed and reinstalled. For this reason, avoid wrapping flex pipes or joints. Also, DEI does not recommend wrapping titanium exhaust systems, as it can cause the material to become brittle and crack.
