It's designed to keep that intense heat out of your cabin or protect sensitive components from damage. This shield is particularly useful for firewalls, floor pans, and transmission tunnels where heat can really build up.

What makes this shield effective is its construction: a 10 mil embossed aluminum face bonded to a 1/8 inch composite glass-fiber core. This combination is backed by a strong, high-temperature adhesive that holds up to 450F, while the shield itself can handle direct heat up to 1750F. It's only 3/16 inch thick, so it doesn't take up much space, and the flexible material makes it easy to shape and trim to fit those tricky contours. The black finish also helps it blend in nicely.

Installation is straightforward thanks to the aggressive self-adhesive backing. Just trim it to size, peel off the backing, and stick it in place. Just remember, this shield is meant to block radiant heat and should not be applied directly to exhaust components.
