DEI Gen-3 Turbo Shield T4 - Shield Only - Titanium

When you're pushing your turbo hard, managing under-hood heat is crucial. This DEI Gen-3 Turbo Shield is designed specifically for T4 turbochargers to help contain that intense heat. By wrapping your turbo, it helps keep the heat where it belongs, which can lead to a more responsive engine and reduced turbo lag.

DEI built this shield with a multi-layer approach. The outer shell is made from a silicone-coated titanium material, which is tough and helps prevent fraying. Inside, you'll find a thick silica insulation layer, known for its excellent heat-blocking properties. There's also an inner layer combining stainless steel and glass fiber for added insulation and durability, plus a final stainless steel mesh barrier to handle the highest temperatures without becoming brittle. The shield also features riveted anchors to help keep it securely in place.

This kit includes the T4 turbo shield itself and a 5-foot length of 22-gauge stainless steel wire for installation. It's designed to fit T4 turbos, and the multi-layer construction aims to create a solid thermal barrier.
