DEI Gen-3 Turbo Shield T6 - Shield Only - Titanium

DEI is known for making solid thermal management products for performance vehicles. This Gen-3 Titanium Turbo Shield is their latest effort to control the intense heat generated by a turbocharger. It's designed to keep that heat contained, which can help reduce turbo lag and protect other underhood components.

This shield uses a multi-layer approach. The outer shell is made from a silicone-coated titanium material that's built tough and helps prevent fraying. Inside, you'll find a thick layer of silica insulation, chosen for its low thermal conductivity, to keep heat from escaping. A final inner layer combines stainless steel and glass fiber threads for added insulation and durability, with a fine stainless steel mesh to handle the highest temperatures without becoming brittle. The riveted anchors are incorporated to help secure the shield in place for a custom fit during installation.

This kit includes the T6 size turbo shield and a 5-foot length of 22-gauge stainless steel wire for installation. It's a well-built option for managing turbo heat.
