Product Details
This 9mm x 200ft spool of black Hi-Temp Shrink Tubing from DEI is made from military-spec flexible polyolefin. It's designed to give you a snug, water-tight protective seal over wires and connectors, without changing the tube's original length. This tubing is great for insulating wires, wire splices, and terminals, and it meets the material functional properties of Military Spec DTL-23053/5C.
With a 3:1 shrink ratio, this tubing shrinks down to one-third of its original diameter when heated, creating a solid barrier against dirt, dust, solvents, and moisture. It stays flexible even in a wide operating temperature range, from -67°F to 275°F. You'll need a heat gun to apply it, with temperatures between 120°F and 180°F recommended for best results. Just remember not to apply it directly to exhaust components.
