DEI Pipe Shield w/Stainless Steel Clamps - 6in x 36in - Titanium

This DEI Titanium Pipe Shield kit gives you a 6-inch by 36-inch shield and five stainless steel clamps to help manage extreme heat from your exhaust system. When exhaust pipes get too hot, they can reduce power and even damage nearby parts like transmissions, hoses, or electrical components. This shield is designed to block that radiant heat, keeping those sensitive areas cooler.

The shield itself uses a two-ply material. The outer layer is made from a tightly woven basalt fiber, which comes from pulverized lava rock, offering durability. Inside, there's a high-temperature silica fabric that can handle intense heat. What's really neat is how it's designed to create an air gap between the shield and the pipe, which helps a lot with cooling and dissipating heat. This setup can handle temperatures up to 1350°F, which is much higher than some other types of shields that might crack or flake. You can place it strategically near transmissions, brake lines, floorboards, or even on diesel exhaust stacks and motorcycle pipes to control heat.

It's pretty straightforward to install using the included standoff brackets and clamps. The clamps are designed for pipes up to 3 inches in diameter. If you need to adjust its position later, it's easy to reposition.
