DEI's 6-inch Protect-A-Boots are designed to shield them from that extreme temperature, helping to prevent burn-through, hardening, and cracking. They're a well-built solution to keep your ignition system running reliably.
These boots are made from a high-temperature resistant glass fiber material with a special coating that can handle up to 1200 degrees F continuous heat. The double-wall construction adds durability, and they're also non-flammable and resist chemicals and water. A reinforcement ring at the base makes them easier to remove when you need to service your plugs, and they install in seconds over most straight or angled spark plug boots.
