This DEI Protect-A-Wire sleeve is made from high-temperature resistant glass fiber material, capable of withstanding 500 degrees F continuous and up to 1200 degrees F of radiant heat. It's designed to slip over your spark plug wires, protecting them from the harsh under-hood temperatures that can cause burning, cracking, or hardening.
You can easily install this by removing the distributor boot and sliding the Protect-A-Wire sleeve over the wire. This 50-foot bulk spool is a smart choice for the shop or for any project where you need to keep wire protection on hand.
