DEI Turbo Shield T3 - Shield Only - Ultra 47

DEI is known for making parts that help manage heat in your engine bay. This Turbo Shield T3 is designed to tackle the extreme temperatures coming off your turbocharger. It's built to help protect painted or carbon fiber hoods from heat damage, and it can even help your turbo spool up faster, giving you a bit more power when you hit the gas.

This shield uses a three-layer construction. The outer layer is an aluminum-impregnated glass fiber, which is tough and reflects heat. Inside that, there's a high-temperature insulating mat core to soak up heat, and the liner is a silica glass blend. It's double-stitched and has heavy-duty anchor points, so it's built to last and look good. By keeping the exhaust heat contained within the turbo housing, it can reduce spool-up time and increase exhaust gas velocity, leading to quicker power delivery.

This particular part is the shield only, designed for T3 turbo housings. It's made in the USA and comes with a 5-foot length of 22-gauge stainless steel wire for installation.
