The Redstuff material uses a synthetic fiber base enhanced with ceramic particles. This means you'll see a lot less dust – up to 90% less than typical pads, and the dust that does appear is easy to clean. They also perform well right from a cold start and continue to improve as they warm up, making them a solid choice for repeated heavy braking. While they are a hard-wearing pad, be patient during the break-in period, which can take up to 1000 miles for the pad to fully conform to your rotors.
These pads are equipped with EBC's Brake-In surface coating, which helps condition your rotors and speeds up the pad bedding process. They've been shown to stop passenger cars significantly quicker than OEM pads from 100 mph.
