Edelbrock Fiber Laminate Spacer for 2945

This is the Edelbrock Fiber Laminate Spacer kit, designed to work with the Victor 5.0 Manifold, part number 2945. It's a well-built component that adds a half-inch of height between your intake manifold and cylinder heads. This spacer is useful for a couple of reasons: it can give you extra clearance for valve covers under the upper intake, and it also acts as a heat insulator, keeping heat from the engine block from transferring as much to the intake charge. Plus, that extra half-inch of runner length can help produce more torque.

The kit comes with the 7/16" thick fiber laminate spacer itself, two 3/64" thick gaskets to seal the deal, and new, longer fasteners to accommodate the added thickness. This means you get everything you need to install it right out of the box. It fits a wide range of Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles from the mid-80s through the late 90s, including popular models like the Ford Bronco, F-150, and Lincoln Town Car, all using the 302 (5.0L) engine.
