It's designed to give your engine optimal power from the low-end up through the mid-range, making it ideal for daily drivers, trucks, vans, and 4x4s. You'll notice a significant improvement in throttle response and overall pulling power.
This kit includes the Performer-Plus camshaft and matching flat tappet lifters, along with assembly lube and instructions to help you get it installed. The specifications, like 204 degrees of intake duration and .420" intake lift, are tuned for smooth idling and strong performance up to about 5500 RPM. For best results, Edelbrock recommends pairing this cam with their Performer manifolds. This particular camshaft is 50-State Legal for 1957-86 small-block Chevys, with E.O. #D-215-19.
When paired with a Performer EPS intake manifold and Performer cylinder heads, this cam kit helped produce 320 horsepower and 382 ft-lbs of torque in testing, showing its potential for a real performance boost.
