Edelbrock Single SBC Etec-200 Head Comp

When you're rebuilding the top end of your Small Block Chevy, the Edelbrock #60989 E-Tec-200 cylinder heads are a solid option. These are complete cylinder heads designed as replacements for 302, 327, 350, and 400 cubic inch engines that use Vortec-style manifolds. They fit a wide range of vehicles, including many Chevrolet C/K series trucks and Camaro models from the 1980s.

What sets these heads apart is their LT1-style raised runner intake port design. This feature significantly increases airflow compared to stock Vortec heads, which translates to better performance, especially up to around 6000 RPM. The combustion chamber is also uniquely designed to position the spark plug closer to the center of the cylinder. This promotes a more efficient burn, resulting in more power from your engine. You'll also find they offer about 20% more exhaust flow than a cast iron Vortec head.

Edelbrock includes an adjustable rocker stud and guide plate setup. This allows you to properly position the stud height whether you're using adjustable rockers or washers, and it accommodates factory-style self-aligning rocker arms. These heads are dual-drilled, so they can accept both 1987-95 center bolt and 1986 and prior perimeter flange mount valve covers, and they'll work with most stock exhaust manifolds. With stock pistons in a 350 cubic-inch engine, you can expect around 9.5:1 compression.
