This specific design choice is key to achieving maximum airflow while keeping temperature rise to a minimum, contributing to quiet operation and excellent drivability for your 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 or GMC Sierra 1500 equipped with a 4.8L or 5.3L Gen IV engine.

This system is engineered to integrate smoothly, featuring an efficient inlet configuration that creates a shorter, less restrictive intake path for improved airflow, eliminating the need for a jack-shaft. To manage the increased heat, a high-capacity air-to-water intercooler and a low-temp heat exchanger are included. An integrated bypass valve also helps to reduce parasitic loss under light throttle conditions, which can help maintain better fuel economy potential. When installed on a 5.3L engine, expect an increase to 364 horsepower and 397 ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels, and on a 4.8L engine, an increase to 334 horsepower and 380 ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels, when used with the appropriate Edelbrock tune.
