BMW refreshed the F10 5 Series headlights for the 2014 model year, so if you have a 2014-2016 5 Series sedan, you need this updated assembly -- not the earlier 2011-2013 version. This Hella left-side (driver side) xenon headlight with Adaptive Headlight (AHL) technology (part #011087951) is the correct, current-spec replacement built by BMW's own lighting supplier.
Updated for the LCI (Facelift) Models
When BMW updated the F10 for 2014 (the LCI or "Life Cycle Impulse" refresh), the headlight design changed. This Hella assembly matches that updated design precisely, covering the wider model range that came with the refresh, including the 535d diesel models and ActiveHybrid 5 that were not part of the earlier headlight generation.

Adaptive Headlight System
The AHL system pivots the xenon beam into turns based on steering wheel input, giving you better visibility around curves at night. This Hella assembly includes all the internal AHL mechanisms and connects directly to your BMW's existing adaptive headlight control module through the factory harness. No aftermarket controllers or additional wiring needed.
Installation
Direct-fit to all factory mounting points. Electrical connectors match the OE harness. Front bumper work is required for access, which is standard for F10 headlight jobs. A headlight aim check after installation ensures the beam pattern meets proper alignment.
