Hella H1 100W Halogen Bulb

Standard H1 bulbs typically run at 55W, and the Hella H1 100W Halogen Bulb nearly doubles that wattage for significantly more light output in off-road and auxiliary lighting setups. Built with quartz crystal glass, the bulb handles the higher operating temperature that comes with pushing 100 watts through the filament.

Hella rates this bulb for off-road use only — the increased wattage draws more current than standard headlight circuits are designed for, and running 100W bulbs in a stock headlight housing can overheat wiring and lens assemblies. Where it shines is in auxiliary driving lights, fog lamps, and off-road light bars where the wiring is built for the higher draw. The quartz glass also provides strong resistance to road vibrations, which matters on rough terrain.

If you are running Hella 550s or similar auxiliary lamps that take H1 bulbs and you want more output for night runs on trails or unlit back roads, swapping to a 100W bulb is a direct upgrade. Just make sure your wiring harness and relay can handle the additional current.
