ICON 10in Finned Resi Upgrade Kit

ICON is offering a finned reservoir upgrade kit for their 2.5 Series piggyback and remote reservoir shocks. This kit is designed to enhance both the appearance and the performance of your existing ICON shocks. The finned design not only looks good tucked away in the fender well but also offers practical benefits for off-road use.

The primary functional advantage comes from a significant increase in surface area, up by 115%. This larger area helps dissipate heat more effectively, allowing your shocks to perform harder for longer periods before experiencing any drop in damping performance. This is particularly helpful for shocks like the ICON CDC Valve, where heat can build up in both the shock body and the reservoir. Additionally, the finned design adds rigidity and increases the reservoir's resistance to dents from rocks or debris. The fins are designed to absorb impacts, protecting the inner sealing surface from distortion and maintaining shock function.

This 10-inch kit includes a pair of finned reservoirs, dovetail reservoir clamps, and all the necessary hardware for installation. While ICON doesn't offer these as a standard production option, they can be installed by any ICON Authorized Shock Service Center.
