ICON 7.5in Finned Resi Upgrade Kit

ICON is offering a finned reservoir upgrade kit for their 2.5 Series piggyback and remote reservoir shocks. This kit is designed to enhance both the appearance and the performance of your existing ICON shocks. The finned design not only looks sharp under the fender well but also offers practical benefits like improved heat dissipation and increased dent resistance.

The increased surface area of these reservoirs is 115% larger than standard aluminum reservoirs, which helps dissipate heat more effectively. This means your shocks can be pushed harder for longer periods before experiencing any drop in damping performance, a notable advantage for ICON CDC Valve shocks where heat builds in both the reservoir and shock body. Additionally, the finned design adds rigidity and a slightly larger outer diameter, allowing the fins to absorb impacts from rocks or debris. This helps protect the inner sealing surface from damage, which could otherwise affect shock function.

This 7.5-inch reservoir kit includes a pair of finned reservoirs, dovetail reservoir clamps, and all the necessary hardware for installation. While ICON doesn't offer these as a production option, they can be installed by any ICON Authorized Shock Service Center.
