This MagnaFlow converter (part 5582812) fits the 2012-2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, Silverado 3500 HD, GMC Sierra 2500 HD, and Sierra 3500 HD with the 6.0L V8.

MagnaFlow constructs this converter with 16-gauge 409 stainless steel tubing and mandrel bends that maintain a consistent internal diameter through each curve. The body welds are 308 stainless steel MIG, and the spun body design uses a single laser fusion weld. Exhaust hangers are OE-sized, made from corrosion-resistant 410 stainless steel, and shaped to reduce noise and vibration transfer to the cab.

Two Torca AccuSeal clamps come in the box, each applying full 360-degree clamping force to prevent pipe distortion at the connections. The hardware kit lets you complete the installation without salvaging corroded factory fasteners. No cutting or welding is needed.

MagnaFlow used 3D scanning during development to replicate the factory converter's dimensions and mounting geometry. On a truck this size, having the pipe angles and flange positions match up correctly makes a real difference in installation time and long-term reliability.
