Magnaflow is known for making exhaust components that flow well and last. This direct-fit catalytic converter is built to keep your 1986-1992 Ford Taurus or 1986-1993 Mercury Sable running clean and passing emissions tests. It's designed to replace your original converter without needing any cutting or welding, making installation much simpler if you've got the right tools.

This converter uses mandrel-bent tubing, which means the inside diameter stays consistent throughout, helping exhaust gases flow freely and maintaining factory performance and fuel efficiency. The construction is from 16-gauge 409 stainless steel for good corrosion resistance, and the welds are solid 308 stainless steel. Magnaflow uses 3D scanning during development to make sure the fit and function are just like the original part, and the single laser fusion weld helps prevent leaks. It's designed to meet Federal EPA emissions requirements for pre-OBDII vehicles.

This kit comes with the converter, a donut gasket, and three O2 port plugs to help you get a good seal during installation. Just remember, this converter is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
