Mishimoto 12-16 BMW F10 M5 Intercooler Kit (Wrinkle Black)

This Mishimoto intercooler kit includes the intercooler core and all necessary piping to replace the stock liquid-to-air intercooler system on your 2012-2016 BMW M6. The S63 twin-turbo V8 engine in these cars is a powerhouse, but like any high-performance engine, it generates a lot of heat. This kit is designed to help manage that heat more effectively, especially when the car is tuned or modified.

The engineers at Mishimoto focused on increasing the volume of the intercooler core by 37-percent over the factory unit. They also designed a bar-and-plate core that offers a 10-percent reduction in airflow restriction while still providing optimal cooling. In testing, this kit showed a notable 24-degree drop in intake air temperatures, which allows for improved ignition timing and resulted in documented power gains of 25 WHP and 22 WTQ on a Stage-1 tuned M5. This means more consistent and higher power output, especially during spirited driving or track use.
