Mishimoto 15-16 Ford F-150 EcoBoost 3.5L Black Performance Intercooler Kit w/ Polished Pipes

This Mishimoto Performance Intercooler Kit is designed specifically for the 2015-2016 Ford F-150 with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine. What you get in this kit is a direct-fit intercooler with a black finish, polished aluminum cold-side and hot-side piping, and silicone boots. This setup replaces the factory plastic components, which can be a weak point under boost, with more robust materials that allow your twin-turbocharged engine to perform at its best.

The Mishimoto intercooler itself offers a significant upgrade over the stock unit. It boasts a 77-percent larger core volume and a 163-percent increase in external fin surface area. This means it can dissipate heat much more effectively, keeping your intake air temperatures lower. Lower intake air temps translate to denser air, which your engine can use to make more power. The intercooler features cast end tanks and a bar-and-plate construction, making it strong and capable of handling higher boost pressures. The included polished aluminum pipes have a 24-percent greater internal volume than the factory pipes, promoting smoother airflow from the turbos to the intercooler and from the intercooler to the engine. These pipes connect using silicone boots featuring DuraCore technology, known for their strength and resistance to blowout under pressure. Constant-tension worm gear clamps ensure a secure seal.

Installation is made easier with the cold-side pipe featuring a CNC quick-disconnect fitting that includes a pre-installed O-ring and spring clip.
