When you're pushing your 2017-2019 Chevrolet or GMC truck with the 6.6L Duramax L5P engine, keeping intake air temperatures in check is crucial. High temperatures can rob your engine of power and, over time, lead to serious damage. This Mishimoto performance intercooler is designed to replace your stock unit and provide a significant upgrade in cooling capacity and airflow efficiency.

What you get in this kit is a substantial upgrade over the factory intercooler. It features durable cast-aluminum end tanks built to withstand high temperatures and boost pressures without cracking. The heart of the system is a massive 68mm-thick bar-and-plate core, which is 70-percent larger than stock. This larger core is key to its maximum cooling ability. Mishimoto also engineered this intercooler to reduce restriction by over 64-percent compared to the original, and they've increased the inlet and outlet sizes by 6mm and 12mm respectively to further improve airflow. Included is an adapter cold-side pipe complete with a DuraCore™ boot and constant-tension T-bolt clamps for a secure fit. Plus, this adapter pipe has two extra bungs that you can drill and tap for sensors or a water/meth injection system, giving you options for further tuning.
