The 2.0T EcoBoost engine in your 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST is a powerhouse, but the stock intercooler and piping can become a bottleneck, especially when you're pushing the engine hard. This Mishimoto Performance Intercooler Kit directly addresses those limitations. It features a robust bar-and-plate intercooler core, which is designed to allow charged air to pass through more freely than the stock unit, significantly improving heat dissipation and warding off heat soak during demanding driving conditions. This means your ST gets properly cooled air to the intake manifold, helping it perform at its best.

Mishimoto didn't stop at just the core. They've replaced the restrictive stock hot-side pipe with a mandrel-bent aluminum piece that ditches the factory turbo muffler and opens up the diameter, allowing for a 26-percent increase in flow. The hot-side piping also uses wire-reinforced silicone couplers to ensure a durable and long-lasting connection. Combined with the cold-side pipe, this kit offers a 21-percent increase in overall flow to and from the intercooler. The result is an improved power band, with gains of 8 horsepower and 10 lb.-ft. of torque when used with other Mishimoto Focus ST parts. This all-aluminum construction is built to handle up to 550 horsepower.
