The hot-side piping has been redesigned with mandrel-bent aluminum, eliminating the restrictive factory turbo muffler and increasing the pipe diameter. This results in a 26-percent improvement in hot-side flow. The hot-side connections use wire-reinforced silicone hoses, which are more durable than rubber and help maintain a smooth flow. Overall, the piping in this kit contributes to a 21-percent increase in flow to and from the intercooler. When combined with other Mishimoto Focus ST parts, this kit is rated to add 8 horsepower and 10 lb.-ft. of torque, with a maximum horsepower capacity of 550HP.
