Mishimoto 2015+ BMW F8X M3/M4 Performance Air-to-Water Intercooler Power Pack

This is the Mishimoto Performance Air-to-Water Intercooler Power Pack, designed specifically for the 2015-2020 BMW M4, M3, and M2 Competition models equipped with the S55 engine. BMW's factory intercooling system is technologically advanced, but Mishimoto identified areas for improvement, particularly with the plastic charge pipes that can crack or split under pressure. This power pack addresses those weaknesses by replacing the stock components with a robust, high-performance setup.

The heart of this kit is the improved intercooler core, which boasts a 29-percent increase in volume and a unique single-pass coolant flow layout for better heat transfer. This design, combined with a 16-percent increase in flow through the core, resulted in a notable 12°F drop in intake air temperatures during testing. The kit also includes newly designed charge pipes constructed from full aluminum with a cast mid-section engineered to fit precisely around the intake. These pipes are built to handle higher boost pressures with more confidence than the factory plastic ones. Matte black silicone couplers ensure a secure and clean connection to the intercooler.

Completing the system is an upgraded heat exchanger, designed to work seamlessly with the new intercooler and charge pipes. This comprehensive package is dyno-proven to deliver average gains of 11 wheel horsepower and 8 wheel torque, with peak gains reaching up to 31 wheel horsepower and 10 wheel torque on a Stage 1 tuned vehicle.
