If you're pushing your 2016-2018 Ford Focus RS hard, whether on the track or just enjoying spirited driving, keeping your intake air cool is key to consistent performance. This Mishimoto Performance Intercooler Kit is designed to significantly improve your RS's ability to cool that charged air.

This kit beefs up your intercooler with a 36-percent increase in core volume and a massive 214-percent increase in external fin surface area. This means it can cool the air coming from your turbo much more effectively, reducing outlet air temperature by almost 40-percent. Importantly, it does this while minimizing the pressure drop across the core, so your turbo doesn't have to work harder. Mishimoto claims this setup can add about 7 horsepower and 8 ft-lbs of torque. The robust bar-and-plate core is built tough to handle whatever you throw at it, improving heat transfer whether you're at idle or cruising.

Beyond just the intercooler core, this kit also includes Mishimoto's performance intercooler piping. The hot-side pipe is custom-designed with a 40-percent increase in internal volume and shaped to direct airflow over the stock PTU cooler. The cold-side pipe uses 5-layer silicone reinforced with wire for increased flow and better longevity for your turbo system.
