The 2017+ Ford Super Duty with the 6.7L Powerstroke is a tough truck, but even the best can be improved. Mishimoto developed this air-to-water intercooler to address potential leaks found in the stock design and to boost performance. Instead of the stamped and stacked plate construction of the factory unit, this Mishimoto intercooler features cast aluminum end tanks that are precision TIG welded to a robust bar-and-plate core. This construction method significantly reduces potential failure points, offering greater reliability than cut and welded tanks.

Beyond its improved durability, this intercooler also flows better. Flow bench testing showed a 22-percent increase in airflow compared to the stock cooler. On the dyno, this improved flow translated to a gain of 40 lb-ft of torque on a stock 6.7L Powerstroke engine, even without other modifications. To further enhance durability and ensure a smooth installation, it includes a mandrel-bent cold-side pipe and silicone couplers featuring Duracore technology. This intercooler is finished in a micro-wrinkle silver powder coat, giving your engine bay a clean, custom look.
