The Mishimoto performance top-mount intercooler is built to help your 2022+ Subaru WRX breathe cooler, denser air. This upgrade replaces the stock plastic end tank intercooler with a robust cast-aluminum end tank design and a high-flow core that's 88 percent larger than the original. This substantial increase in core volume allows the intercooler to flow over 40 percent better than stock, which means less strain on your turbo and more cold air being pushed into your engine.

Beyond just volume, the core itself has 76 percent more fin surface area, helping it transfer heat more effectively. This design aims to keep outlet air temperatures within 10 degrees of ambient, ensuring safe and consistent performance. To make sure this cooler gets all the fresh air it needs, the shroud has been enlarged to utilize the full opening of the WRX's signature hood scoop. A pre-drilled and tapped 1/8-NPT port is included, making it simple to add temperature or boost pressure sensors for monitoring.
