Mishimoto is known for developing well-built cooling components for performance vehicles. For the 2021+ Ford Bronco, they've created a high-mount intercooler kit designed to help your 2.3L or 2.7L EcoBoost engine perform at its best, especially when you're pushing it on the trail. This kit relocates the intercooler to the upper grille area, which not only protects it from trail obstacles but also frees up space in the front bumper for winches and other accessories you might need for off-roading.

This intercooler features a substantial 3.1-inch thick core with cast aluminum end tanks that are precision TIG-welded. Mishimoto reports this design offers significantly improved durability against heat, pressure, and road debris compared to the factory tube-and-fin unit. The relocation and larger core volume, which is 49-percent greater than stock, lead to a notable reduction in outlet air temperatures – up to 21 degrees Fahrenheit cooler for the 2.3L EcoBoost and 15.5 degrees for the 2.7L EcoBoost. This improved cooling translates into dyno-proven performance gains of up to 4.5 horsepower and 10.8 lb-ft of torque for the 2.3L, and 8.0 horsepower and 10.2 lb-ft of torque for the 2.7L EcoBoost. Even after multiple hard runs in their trail simulation testing, outlet temperatures remained significantly cooler than stock.

The kit includes new ducting to ensure proper airflow to the relocated intercooler. Mishimoto has also engineered a bracket to retain the functionality of your adaptive cruise control, and the 360-degree camera system remains unaffected.
