This kit upgrades the stock top-mount intercooler and associated piping, allowing your FA24 engine to breathe cooler, denser air. This means your turbo doesn't have to work as hard to produce boost, and the engine can make more power reliably.

Mishimoto has re-engineered the entire charge air cooling system. The stock plastic charge pipe is replaced with mandrel-bent aluminum piping featuring CNC-machined sections for smooth transitions that improve flow by 20 percent over the factory piece. This all-aluminum construction is also much stronger, better able to handle higher boost pressures. The intercooler itself is significantly larger, with cast-aluminum end tanks and a bar-and-plate core that's 88 percent bigger than stock. This larger core volume, combined with 76 percent more fin surface area, allows for over 40 percent better airflow and keeps outlet temperatures within 10 degrees of ambient, even under demanding conditions. The included shroud is also enlarged to ensure the entire intercooler core receives maximum airflow from the hood scoop.
