This is the Mishimoto Universal Air-To-Water Intercooler, a dual-pass model designed for builds capable of producing up to 1500 horsepower. Air-to-water intercooling is a popular choice for its compact efficiency, helping to keep intake air temperatures down. Lower intake temps reduce the risk of detonation and heat soak, allowing your engine to produce consistent power, especially in demanding applications.

Mishimoto has built this intercooler with robust components. It features a durable bar-and-plate core that’s efficient at cooling, and the 5mm-thick cast-aluminum end tanks are custom-engineered to promote superb airflow, which helps reduce pressure drop. These tanks are TIG-welded to the core, giving it a strong pressure tolerance of up to 100 psi of boost. You’ll also find unique CNC-machined ribbed connections on the inlet and outlet ports, which help ensure your couplers get a solid grip on the intercooler piping. The design includes -16 ORB coolant ports for easy plumbing, and it comes with a sturdy 1/8" thick steel universal mounting bracket. Mishimoto finishes this intercooler with a sleek, durable micro-wrinkle black powder coat.
