This intercooler features a robust bar-and-plate core that's built to handle demanding conditions and supports builds up to 1500 horsepower, though this specific model is rated for 500hp. The cast-aluminum end tanks are custom-engineered for excellent airflow, which helps reduce pressure drop across the cooler. These tanks are TIG-welded to the core, giving them a strong tolerance for up to 100 psi of boost. You'll also find unique CNC-machined inlet and outlet connections with ribs to ensure your couplers have a solid grip and won't slip off under pressure. Mishimoto has made installation easier by including -16 ORB coolant ports and a sturdy 1/8" thick steel universal mounting bracket. The intercooler is finished in a durable micro-wrinkle black powder coat.
