This Mishimoto universal air-to-water intercooler kit includes the intercooler core itself, which features a single-pass coolant flow design with opposite side inlet and outlet ports. It's built to handle builds producing up to 1000 horsepower, helping to keep your engine's intake air temperatures down. Lowering these temperatures is key to reducing the effects of heat soak, preventing detonation, and ensuring you get consistent power output from your engine, especially in demanding applications.

The construction here is robust. It uses a durable bar-and-plate core for efficient cooling and longevity. The end tanks are made from 5mm thick cast aluminum, custom-engineered to promote superb airflow and minimize pressure drop. These tanks are professionally TIG-welded to the core, giving it a high pressure tolerance of up to 100 psi of boost. For secure connections, the inlet and outlet coupler connections are CNC-machined with ribs to ensure your piping stays firmly in place. Mishimoto also makes installation easier by including -16 ORB coolant ports on the intercooler and a sturdy 1/8" thick steel universal mounting bracket. You can easily adapt to your chosen coolant lines using Mishimoto's -16 ORB Aluminum Fittings, sold separately.
