The iridium-tipped center electrode on these NGK spark plugs is six times harder than platinum, offering improved durability and a consistently stable spark. This makes them a solid choice for vehicles originally equipped with fine wire iridium plugs. The pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator provides superior strength and helps transfer heat away from the plug, while the 98 percent pure copper core further aids in heat removal. Most Laser Iridium plugs also feature a platinum pad on the ground electrode for even wear, especially in distributorless ignition systems.

These NGK spark plugs are built with trivalent metal plating, which helps prevent corrosion and seizing, making them easier to remove later. They are designed as an OE or equivalent replacement, meaning they fit right and perform as the original equipment. This set includes four spark plugs, enough for most common V6 and V8 engine configurations.
