This is a box of four NGK Ruthenium HX spark plugs, part number TR4BHX. These plugs are built with a patented Ruthenium alloy center electrode and a platinum fine wire ground electrode, designed for modern engines that require high ignitability. The specialized tip technology aims to provide a more complete fuel burn, which can lead to quicker throttle response, a smoother idle, and better performance during cold starts. They fit a range of vehicles, including many Buick, Chevrolet, and GMC models from the late 90s through the mid-2010s.

The Ruthenium center electrode is known for its durability, offering a longer service life compared to standard plugs. NGK's Double Fine Electrode (DFE) design helps concentrate spark energy, igniting a wider range of air-fuel mixtures, which is beneficial in both rich and lean engine conditions.
