The center electrode is made from a 0.4mm Ruthenium alloy, paired with a 0.4mm platinum fine wire ground electrode. This Double Fine Electrode (DFE) design helps concentrate spark energy, leading to a more complete fuel burn. You can expect a quicker throttle response, a smoother idle, and improved cold starts. The pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator offers superior strength and better heat transfer, while the trivalent metal plating helps prevent corrosion and seizing.
